Do you think the Western media is confused about the riots in Xinjiang right now?

As in it seems they can't decide who to declare evil. They of course want o peg China as evil whenever possible, but, in this scenario that means rooting for Muslims (as Americans only see things in black and white). How do you see the western media leaning right now? Who do you think they'll eventually side with? Why?
 
No I don't think so. For starters there not labelling them as Muslims but as Uyghur. They have been showing responses by both sides. Also the they have been talking about what was the cause that started them, ie the deaths of two Uyghurs in southern China riots cause by Hans Chinese.

Now as time goes by more information will come out and there will be some human error in a report, in which an over zealous person will claim that its a bias towards the Chinese.

I do find it odd that the Chinese said that the riots were caused by foreign involvement. Anyone with half a brain can work out that then you have angry young men marching the streets any confrontation could kick the crowd off to a mob mentally riot.
 
i do agree, once i don't really like what the communist has been handling their minority. but this time the Muslim start first.
any government would do what the Chinese government have done.

i truthfully have nothing to complain the chinese government act this time.
but the medias is in a difference story.
it seem like they got no idea who to blame!
to me it is clearly the Muslim who start the violence and who to be blame.
