...to recession? and if they are, do they deserve a bailout?
everyone is either ignoring or missing my sarcasm.
1) they are in very solid financial straights
2) they are GROWING and making record profits
3) they would not be growing without the help of politicians / judges / lawyers / getting kickbacks from them.
and for Godsakes this is not a freakin Red blue issue, it is Americans being tossed in the clink and being SCREWED (literally) for minor things until they are turned into felons or worse by our corrupt prison system.
70% of them should of never gone there in the first place, and the other 30% that are there should of been dumped on some remote island to live on there own while our navy patrols the shores (we do exercises out there anyway).
and the reason that has not happened is because it is BIG MONEY making prisoners, not citizens.
