I think we've all noticed the ridiculous spam around this board particularily for
"pregnancyissuez" and "pragnancyinfo" blogs.
(the horrendous spelling is possibly more annoying than the spam itself)
But why?
If you take a look at those blogs, they're AWFULLY written, have no medical basis, are rarely updated, have NO subscribed readers (there are never any comments) and really stupid posts.
Do you think each blog is just written by ONE person?
And that it's that same person coming on here every evening making 4390839 accounts and posting the limit, and then making a new account, and posting the limit?
I'm really curious
What is their incentive?
if you follow the actual links, they are indeed pregnancy blogs.
Just very very crappy ones!
Well Lady Clover, I could barely understand that awfully constructed rant.
But would you get your pregnancy advice from somebody who cannot spell PREGNANCY right?
And if you really wish to spell the way you do on "myspace" (which, 'pragnancy' and 'issuez' are not shortcuts or abbreviations) why on earth would you write that way when trying to give medical information?
If someone really wants to devote HOURS of their time every night to writing a blog, they should put that much intention into the blog itself.
bike, I delete them all the time.
The problem is, they open new accounts, they post their answer limit (whatever it is for level 1 accounts, about 20 I think) and then make a new account.
They don't mind if their accounts get shut down, because they just make a new one.
Yahoo should block their IP address from creating new accounts.
