Considering they invade privacy and show a complete disreagrd for public safety in the quest for the lastest picture, should something be done to control them and should they & the publishers that use them be held responsible for thier actions ?

There are already laws on the books for what they do..especailly reckless driving and stalking.
I am suprised the DA hasn't got a slew of criminal convictions yet....the 1st amendment doesn't include putting the person they are chasing or the general public in harms way.

Personally, yes I think they are a menace and what I believe what they are doing is wrong. However, we have freedom of press in this country, which needs to be preserved to protect our democracy and our way of life. Therefore, it would be against the freedom that our forefathers set forth in the Constitution.

If paparazzi were controlled, then the government would be able to control what others in news are reporting also.

The news shouldn't be snuffed. Journalists are the eyes and ears of the public.

I think stupid women should crack down on buying cheesy celebrity tabloids. Problem solved, without wasting taxpayer money.
