There is most likely going to be a challenge to the law if it passes. It seems like it could very likely be considered unconstitutional that the government can force you to buy health insurance and in fact may even be the equivalent to a form of "racketeering". What do you think? I am for health care reform but not if it is compulsory - being forced to buy health insurance is still no guarantee that the insurance companies will provide the care they are supposed to provide. This also has no provision to help the extremely poor which would only be further harmed by fines if they can't afford it.
