Do you think the color red looks good on a blonde?

I am looking at prom dresses online and i really love some of the red ones. My hair is a natural blonde and my skin color is sorta tan...like a medium color. Do you think red looks good with this combination? Thanks!

Oh and when I say red i mean like real red...not like orangey red. Thanks!
