Do you think that your state should require amendments to be written in

clear concise language? In Florida, we have this problem with our junky State Constitution and contradicting language in laws and provisions...

We always have SO MANY Amendments and other measures that reach the ballot every year and they all get voted for, almost automatically.

One example is the bullet train... First the people voted for it. But then a certain group of people got their panties in a twist because of the cost of building it, so they added an item to the ballot to counteract the measure. People voted for that one too and it's unclear whether people knew that they were voting AGAINST it because of the double-negatives used in the phrasing of the meaure. (To vote "yes" meant "no").

So then, they proposed an amendment to use clear language but then certain nefarious groups added their own contradictory "language amendments" as well...

What can be done about this mess?

People have no idea what they are voting for anymore in Florida...
