Do you think that the phrase "a war of choice" is a valuable addition to the language?

I much favor a simpler system of nomenclature: It is either a just war ---or it is an aggressive war. I suspect the new addition is a product of NY Times mealy-mouthing...as Americans, including the NY Times (historically) recently saw their country launch a "not just war" in Iraq, they still can't bring themselves to face that the Good Ole' USA launched one of THE other kind of wars in Iraq, so they employ this phrase.

I am serious about this as a language question. I want this phrase dropped! It constitutes "weasel-wordism" about a vital matter. The thought is too liberal, too generous to something evil. I prefer the conservative, intolerant- to- evil old way of speaking about war.
