I don't think spankings are a bad thing...I don't mean take a huge paddle or belt to them, and I don't believe they should be spanked anywhere but on the butt...I think that fear of going to jail for spanking our children and someone shouting ABUSE! and the kids being told by the schools to tell them if their parents physically touch them in anger or shout at them for the least little thing...Kids get mad and they use it against their parents...friends, family and neighbors use it against each other...I know there are a lot of bad people out there that cross the line and beat children and molest them and everything else, but a parent should have the right to teach their child right from wrong as long as they don't cross that line

Kids these days have no respect for anyone, not even themselves...I got spanked and I knew what lines I could cross and couldn't...I didn't cuss out teachers or my parents...I didn't drink or do drugs...I wasn't perfect, but I knew what respect was.
