Lets be realistic here. Andy Abraham wasn't going to win. But, his song was good, catchy and enjoyable, and the best UK entry for years.
Because of each country voting for each other, we came last, as did Germany, another Western European country.
Britain, France, Germany and Spain put the most money into Eurovision, but in Britain, the BBC puts *public* money into a contest that we haven't a hope in hell of winning, or getting out of the bottom 5 in.
Is it the time for the BBC to end its Eurovision funding?
