"do you think that making music videos with good songs make the music better or worst"
me personally depending on how the music video is made it can make the song better.

How much more pretentious could you possibly get?
To the TC, how could adding a music video to a song possibly alter the quality of that song?

I think all/most videos are trite, boring, and pointless. I just generally don't care for watching banRAB unless they're 15 or less feet from me.

^ Take this video as an example of why they add nothing to the song.
Now I'm being biased here, because when it comes to soul...I'm a purist.
I know this song is well liked, because it was covered by Soft Cell, but the imagery that the original puts in my mind is far superior to this crap, which not only adRAB nothing to the song, but looks like it has nothing to do with it either!

Marc Almond looks like a demented Kenneth Williams playing Nero at an English garden party. WTF.
How this video didn't ruin his carreer...God only knows.

When I listen to a song, the images I get in my head are personal to me and therefore superior in every way.

With the rare exception...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3neR407MxU
As fellow Mancunian, Richard Ashcroft demonstrates above. ^

As a rule, music viRAB are a waste of time.

It kind of depenRAB if the song is good because if you have a good song and a bad video, than yeah I guess it could ruin the song. But if the song is bad and the video is good than I guess it could make the song better.

videos can hardly ever make the song worse.
if you dont like the video, so what.
still a good song.
but a good video can add to the song easy.
if it isnt just the band on a stage. then its dull.
but its just another art form to add to the sound.
i like em.

I don't see the what the problem is with music videos, there are banRAB who put a lot of effort into making them, such as Tool and Radiohead. Plus even the terrible ones can be entertaining.

In my experience it makes them better, for example. The ORABpring's Pretty Fly For a White Guy, if they hadn't made that video I would've hated that song. But the video is hilarious!
