Do you think that Abraham Lincoln was the best Democratic president EVER?

Sure he was a Republican, but the Republicans have become what the Democrats were and the Democrats have become what the Republicans were, so saying Lincoln was a Republican is insulting to what Republicans were and to Lincoln.
 
Lincoln was Republican. Get over it. Sure, he (probably) would have been a Democrat if he lived today, but it is a fact that he was Republican.

Lincoln was a Republican. He has not lost his way, present day Republicans have.

You can not put Lincoln in the same group as Democrats today their Ideology doesn't match either. Democrats will not go to war to free anyone, They do not support a military action to do anything.
 
Lincoln was a overrated president at best and a horrible president at worst. He had 3000 reporters and congressman put to jail for speaking out against his policies. >600,000 people died because of his unnecessary war. he had little concern over the slaves (many quotes supporting that), his concern was keeping the union together. The constitution was shredded during his administration like no other time in the 1800s.
