When they give stats against them I think they can't find anymore but they do.

Of national sports channels, like MLB Network and ESPN and its affiliates, I would think the opposite.

I think they like to dissect a team that has a record like the Yankees. As the team that has the most titles, some prejudice could exist and I think commentators might have a hard time hiding that. They surely have their own favorites. It's a strategy the people often use as a way of leveling the playing field by picking a top opponent apart. You might also consider where the channel has its broadcast center - where its home office is - that would definitely have an impact. I do think the Yankees tick off a lot of people - people who wish they didn't have the stature they have.

There is a legion of yankee haters out there and it's what they want. You don't get this far without knocing off a lot of teams, and the knocked off teams want vengence.
