people? I don't have a lot of money right now, who does anyways, and I have the bulbs and paint already. I'm pretty good at art and was thinking of doing different christmas designs with poinsettias.

It will go to friends, grandparents, and bosses. I'm 21.

What do you think? Stupid?
 
In this generation of instant gratification, a hand painted gift really is extra special. Anytime a person remembers you at Christmas with a card or gift is appreciated. I can really only see extremely shallow people not appreciating a gift from the heart.

Not stupid at all! It's not obligatory to GIVE a GIFT and I think it would be something special and thoughtful on your behalf since it's something you worked on. Go for it and more power to you!
