Of course it will sell well on ebay. You gotta look at it like a blu ray player. People will want it for that alone just like the ps2 was sold also like a dvd player.

If Blu ray players are still ass expensive why wont people shell out upwards of 1000+ for it?

Well, it's hard to say. Big stores like Best Buy will probably get more units than EB/Gamestop. So you'll have more of a chance. Still, we don't know how many they'll get. But....you'll be looking at camping out overnight. Probably 8+ hours. And that's a BITCH.
