Do you think people who drive Ducati bikes are rich ?

ducatis do cost a bit more than the average bike but what people overlook often is the cost of maintenance ie cam belt replacement . this must be done at regular intervals and if overlooked the bike is prone to seize .
 
You can easily buy more bike for less money. They are a bit of a status symbol. But some of them are works of art. You pay extra for the styling. So those who buy them are either rich and money isn't an object or the type of person who really loves the look or the type of person who wants to be seen riding a Ducati.

After a certain age most anyone can get a loan, so unless the guy has the house and cars to go with it, he probably just really wants a Ducati. In a way it is the younger version of the kind of guy who buys a harley.
 
Yes because the average price of a Ducati bike is comprable to the comparison of a ferrari's price to the average car hence the Ferrari of Motorcycles lingo.
 
HAHA No. I have a DUCATI Monster 900 Dark 2001. I got it off Craig’s list used for $3000 USD in great shape with a whole bunch of aftermarket parts on it. It's a great bike and I wouldn’t trade it for anything! The only thing that is expensive is the maintenance because no one works on them; you have to take it to a certified dealer. That can get kind of costly, but if you do most of the work your self its almost as cheap as any other bike.
 
Not necessarily rich, but brand- and status-conscious. Much like Harley riders, actually--and I don't mean that as a knock against either goup.
 
Not necessarily. It depends. The bike is on the expensive side. I knew a few people who had one and they weren't rich. One guy lived in a trailer park, although he built a storage shed to lock it up in. They just liked and wanted a Ducati, so that is what they spent their money on. It doesn't mean that everything in their life is in a 'Ducati' class.
