Ive always been taught to be the boss and never let a kid even a toddler run all over you and become spoiled. im wondering if being stubborn and always having to be the boss makes for a stubborn child? Also does setting unrealistic rules cause for more frustration from the child then needs to be? For example my sister put her toddler in the stroller and she was content then she asked if she wanted to walk, then decided she didn't want to watch her and put her back in without warning and her toddler threw a fit. She proceeded to be stern and not give in while she strapped my neice in while having a tantrum. Don't you think this was just uncessary? She said she couldnt back down and let her walk again because then she would always know she could get her way. My neice is extremely subborn. So do you think parents behavior affects how the child acts?
