I am an inventor and a futurist . I have designed a Quad-Nacelle assisted , Dual Ducted Fan Vertical Takeoff and Landing vehicle which is Land Sea and Air capable , meaning you can drive it on the highway to the ocean into the ocean and then vertically takeoff from the water . It flies 320 mph and holds 5 occupants , My vehicle has a hybrid Wankel Rotary engine which supplies the nacelles thrust and the electric Ducts power . It has multiple system redundancies and a main vehicle parachute . It is made to function in all 3 environments efficiently and without hesitation . Deluxe models will likely have a small turbine engine therefore more power . This would raise the price to around 500,000.00 $ But the civilian taxi model with the rotary engine would be around 200,000.00 $
Do you think my dream will help or hurt our economy ? Imagine having the Airport drive to you !!
I forgot to mention : My design is fully automated as such will be much safer than driving on the highways . 40,000 people a year die on American roads alone. With my vehicle and vehicles like mine I'd like to boast zero fatalities . There will be no user interference once a flight plan has been calculated meaning Osama couldn't hi-hack it and run it into a building . I have read and addressed all the concerns with flying cars and trust me none seem threatening besides the cost . So please I beg you continue to be cynical it makes me stronger and more determined . Thanks !!
