We were on the the interstate and got into an accident. We collided with the back of an Avalanche that was not moving at the time of the accident. We had been going about 65 miles and hour and managed to slow down to about 35 mph at impact. I drive a 2005 Honda Element.
The car cranked once and made awful noises after the accident and then wouldn't start again when we tried to start it a few minutes later. The radiator was punctured. The hood got all crunched up. The right headlight was busted. The front right side of the car got pushed back enough so that the passenger door couldn't open all the way. Some stuff under the hood got crushed as well.
I'd also like to add that the the air bag did not deploy.
