Do you think Michael Vick should stay in jail for fighting dogs?

In my opinion, I think he should stay in jail. I love dogs, and he did a terrible thing. He fought pit bulls. People say that he was out playing football while his friends were fighting the dogs. But then on the news, it said he was also part of fighting the dogs. Do you think he should stay in jail? Or get out of jail?
 
In no way am I condoning dogfighting, but I think he served an unfair sentence in the first place. Taking an animal's life is not nearly as bad as taking a human's life. Now, a person who should be in jail for at least a few years is Donte Stallworth for DUI Manslaughter. He shouldn't have been given less than 18 months, yet he is out after 24 days. He killed a human. Vick killed dogs. He got over a year.
 
Vick served two years for fighting devil dogs (pit bulls) that have no other purpose than to shred the flesh of other animals. Dante Stallworth (NFL player) served 28 days for killing a guy with his car while driving drunk. To me that is ridiculous. Screw dogs.
 
Why should he get a more severe sentence than what he got. An objective judge and jury decided his sentence and he served it.
 
1. hes a great player and football needs him.
2.pit bulls are naturally aggressive if you put u put 2 pit pulls in the same cage they would fight to the death without even being provoked.
3. you can believe what the news says it'll say anything and since its "the news" people will automatically believe it as "the truth".
4. in conclusion give him a break hes human and we all make mistakes . some mistakes are just more serious.
