...for anything to handle? do you think mars will end up being like a 2nd earth? if things slowly develop on mars*because the whole water thing* and we find out and slowly watch another earth come to,as ours is slowly getting worse.do we have the perfect spot in the universe for nature to be held?later to be apart of the sun? what do you think?
mercury and venus are way too close to the sun now..but i mean no tellin how many planets were be4 mercury and venus..im sayin what if its like a cycle type thing we're in some point of time each planet in this orbit that earth is in will be replaced by the next as time goes on...?

actually there is "tellin" how many planets were here, there may have been one where the kuiper belt is now, but that's it.. Mercury and Mars have always been in their current orbits.

No. Not at all. Both of them are far too close to the sun for water to have even existed. Mars is too far away for it to exist in anything but a frozen state on its surface. These planets have always, more or less, been the same distance from the sun.

In short, no.

One of the biggest problems with that is that Mars does not have an active core. Earth does, and that's what gives us our electromagnetic shield, which protects our atmosphere from the harmful solar winds. Without it, the particles in the atmosphere literally get swept away.

Venus had a better chance of being like earth but the chances of them taking parallel courses was very ,unlikely.
