behavior? I just saw an MSNBC clip of one of those prison shows that glorify prisoners, making them seem like antiheroes or whatever you want to call them. This one was about guys getting their eyes tattooed, and the interviews were edited in such a way that it was as if MSNBC was encouraging people to go out and dye their eyeballs a different color. They even went through a safety lecture about "you shouldn't do this unless you're committed to doing it, because it takes weeks and a lot of pain" or something along those lines. Of course that's just one example. There's the obvious stuff, like shows that glorify murder and violence(I know, I sound like Grandpa), but I'm not talking about in a general superficial way. I'm talking about a pattern of oversimplifying and overstimulating that goes on in the media. I see it in politics, current events, sitcoms, music videos, etc.
Anyway, what I want to know is, is this intentional, or is this just the easiest way for the corporations to make a profit?
