...Edan AND the animals as well? Animals did not know right from wrong and they had nothing to do with Adam and Eve. Now they are cursed to come to earth for something our ancestors did? Would you think it's fair if two animals did something wrong and God makes every species have to leave with all their children over 2 animals that didn't know right from wrong or good from evil? The bible says Adam and Eve did not have the knowledge of what is right or wrong because they didn't know what good and evil was till they ate forbidden fruit. How were they supposed to KNOW who was telling the truth? How were they supposed to know who is evil and who is good when God forced them to not know anything. Don't you think that is very illogical of God? If God didn't want us to know about sin why didn't he just take Adam and Eve to earth but let their children be in the Garden of Edan and get rid of the tree? If God did that everything would be perfect so isn't this all God's fault for making everything work the hard way?
 
the devil had used a snake to tempt adam and eve into eating that forbidden fruit, the fruit from the tree on knowledge of good and evil. adam end eve disobeyed god. they listen to satin so there was a consequence for that, the devil can use anything to tempt anybody. if you build a house for someone and you told them all the rules of the house and one day the disobeyed the rule would u want them to still be living in that house or would you prefer them to find a way to get their own house with their own money? thinks of it dat way?
 
Hey, it was a metaphor, an allegory it was symbolic. There was no actual Garden of Eden as in a specific location. It was not paradise on earth as they try to lead everyone to believe. It was a status and a relationship that was lost. A close relationship with our origin (God). There was no real fruit tree. That was symbolic also.
 
When God spoke to Adam, He said that the green plants will be for your food and food for all the animals
When He spoke to Noah, He said that ALL flesh had perverted His ways on the earth
 
yes, i think its fair becuase it was the humans that caused all this to happen so God put the responsibilithy upon the humans to take care of the animals. I think God has a good plan so he didn't really remove the tree from the Garden of Eden, etc....
 
This is something I struggle with. Why do animals suffer?

I wish I knew the answer and no I don't think it is fair but God has an explanation for everything.
 
Just as with the debacle over wearing a religious pin at work, God Told them and they made a choice not to Listen! His Garden His Rules to His Creation! Follow it or Get Out and His Rules still Stand and their sin caused them to Die and live diminished lives.
 
Well done! Exactly right! How can you tell someone NOT TO if they don't know the difference from right or wrong in the first place?
