your credit.?
Ok, what if the person has fell on hard times and bills got backed up judgements fell on them and no one would hire them because of such. You try to better yourself and get out of the bind your in but no one will give you a job because they think your careless with your money. I think it's plan stupied! My friend is having such a hard time right now . Her husband was out of work a couple years ago which put them in a hardship and caused there credit to turn south. She just has lost her job due to the company going under and now all she is hearing is sorry your credit score cost you getting the job. How can she get it better when she doesn't have a job to correct it. It's such a crazy cycle.

an employer can do whatever he wants in hiring unless it is related to race, creed, sex, or religion

I would bet $1000000000000 the employer did not based the ENTIRE hiring decision on credit r\ating.

Employers have a right to check your credit. Most companies do. I would NEVER hire anyone without a credit and background check.

No, a person' s credit history is not an employers business, much less should he base their work ethic on their ability to pay the bills on time.
