I went and voted early the other day and it was the 1st time I have ever voted. One of my co-workers asked me who I voted for so I told her. Then she started to critisize the person I voted for and talk about how great the canadate is that she is voting for. I guess I should have told her it was none of her business. I was thinking of complaining to my supv about her but i didnt because i dont really want to be a rat or snitch

The only reason you should talk poilitics to people at your work is if you believe they are inteligent to be able to be on an opposing side and still be grown up enough to listen and not criticize your veiw without a reasonable argument. Basically learn how that person argues, if they have the debate skill of a 5 year old dont bother you will not enjoy it because they are not on your level of maturity. I can talk to certain people at my job and we both put up reasonable arguements and I can say that by learning where they stand I can learn more about that person, but by eiether of you judging the other just because they are of a different party and not judging them as a human with feelings you destroy the environment of work and create bad emotions that do not heal easy. Just be careful and you should be fine, you seem wise enough.
