you would think....I wouldn't even go to the houses this halloween if they had a sign that wasn't for my candidate!

No, because every night I get in my car and run over all the Obama signs in the general vicinity of my home. Every morning these poor saps that believe he is the next Jesus have to go out and bend them back up. God help them, they are persistant. :)

I think Presidential signs could do that. When it comes to local elections I agree with them. My business is in a neighborhood that could be annexed into a neighboring city. I can't vote therefore I put out a sign letting the residents know how their favorite store feels about the idea.

I'm not sure it affects their business all the much, and they want to show their support just like people who put signs in their yard do.

There may be a few people who would turn away from a business because they saw the wrong sign in a window, but most wouldn't care about the sign enough to go to a different store/restaraunt than they planned to. I don't think too many people would walk in because of a friendly sign either. There just aren't all that many people who have the boycott mentality when it comes to politics. How many people do you know who 'hate' Wal-Mart and still shop there?

No, its not weird. Its annoying but I don't think they lose patrons over it.
