do you think is right for a Dead person to get an oscar knowing that there is other people nominated that are alive and should deserve it. do you think they should excluded the dead person out of the nomination.

it shouldn't matter if the person is dead or not. If the dead person was one of the best actors of the year then they should be nominated. I take it this was brought up because of Heath Ledger winning. He deserved to be nominated, he did amazing in the Dark Knight. It shouldn't matter if the person is dead or not, if they are one of the best actors of the year then they should be nominated.

thats like so harsh! if they did an amazing job in a film or whatever, even if they are dead they should still be recognised!
