Do you think I'll be able to get my money back for these doctor visits?

Basically, 3 weeks ago I went to my local primary care doctor. A physician assistant saw me, didn't bother to take a strep test "to save money" (I don't have any insurance) and basically wrote me a blind prescription not even knowing if I had strep for sure. I knew that I did, because I've had it before and I know what it feels like, but she shouldn't be taking my word for it - that was why I came in the first place. She wrote me a prescription for Amoxicillin...didn't work. About a $100 out of pocket visit fee and the meds were free because she called in generics at a local Publix store where they are free.

I went back a second time after about 8 days...the meds weren't working. This time, I saw a doctor doctor...he explained to me that the Amoxicillin basically has been used so much and for so long to treat strep, that it doesn't really do anything. He gave me meds for my swelling in my throat and also some Ceftin for the step throat. Only 250mg twice a day (every 12 hours) for 10 days.

Went back today...after 9 days, that didn't work. This time, I saw the same dumb-arse physician assistant who asked, "Do you have the sore throat again?" I said, "It never went away, to begin with." She explained to me that, "Because you didn't have insurance, the past two times you were given basically generic children's drugs that didn't work because they weren't the proper dosage for you and wouldn't really clear it up because the generics are cheap and don't work that well." This time, she gave me a prescription for Amox TR-K CLV...It's Amoxicillin 875mg combined with Clavulanate Potassium 125mg...this is for 10 days, taken twice per day.

All 3 visits, they did the same stupid thing and checked my temp (no fever, the same as before), blood pressure, listened to breathing, looked in my ear (red - same as the very first time), and wrote a perscription. All 3 visits were the same. Instead of spending $200 one time for the right meds and a single visit, I've had 3 visits totaling about $500-$600 total for the visits and different meds.

I'm planning on writing to their corporate office...nobody there seems to know what they are doing. Am I correct in doing so? I appreciate them trying to "save me money"...but I just paid $89 today for a generic (yet again, generic - which she said wouldn't work well) bottle of 20 pills. That's about $4+ per pill. Had I paid this the first time on the first visit, I would have been well probably a week and a half ago.
Note: I am talking about the first two pointless visits, not the last one with the better medicine. I'm not trying to get anything for free, but I've been sick for 3 weeks now and they've done nothing but screw up. I began having aches all over my body and ended up going back this morning because the meds from the 2nd visit were clearly not working. My voice felt half paralyzed this morning...it had changed drastically, but is now back to normal.
