Actually in the late 1980's R&B was very popular that it had a throwback conscious of the 1960's with shows like "A different world" and alot of biopics made in the early 90's like malcolm x,rosa parks story,whats love got to do with it.I hated new jack swing because I feel it killed real R&B no more soul just singing over rap beats.But if that never existed I dont think "the best rap" of the early 90's/mid 90's would have ever existed like 2 pac,Nas so could some things happen for a reason?
