Do you think if I start riding my bike for a mile for a whole month.........?

Do you think I could lose weight for a month by riding my bike. (I'll be on a diet too.) I gain a little weight too fast . like ten pounds. I was 107 now I'm 115 it is too much for me cuz of my height (short). what area of my muscles will get in shape? will, my butt get in shape?
 
Cycling is a good aerobic sport and of course it will work out your leg muscles and a little bit of your arms and back.

But while I would definitely bike a mile a day (it's really not that bad), I would definitely to load-bearing workouts, like jogging and running.

Along with your diet, you may want to try the Matthew McConoughey (sp?) thing, which is to stop eating after 7 pm. I may try this myself someday, even though I'm rail thin.
