Do you think I will go through high school as a loner?

I am a nerd, though not a loner. My few good friends are leaving the school to go to Canada. The problem is that I am not really sociable, and that means that I won't be able to make new friends easily. Plus, the majority of the school population consists of show-offs, idiots, and wannabes. They hate me, I hate them.
