Ok... Well I know you cant speak for everyone but judging by my situation and if you know anything about the Fafsa I'm wondering if someone could help me out.
I come from a single mom. My dad left my sister, my mom and myself [no contact with him]. My mom was forced to file for bankruptcy when I was a baby and then she charged on cards A LOT of debt in order to pay for food and stuff. And over the years she's worked she got promoted to manager of her branch and she now makes around 48,300 a year. While YES that may seem like a lot you must take in to acount that we must pay for the apartment, utilities, TONS of credit card bills, and her car... so we are left with little money.
My biggest worry is paying for college.. I'm going to be the first person in my family to attend. Do you think I will still get money for school? D: Its my dream to go... and I dont want to end up like my mom.
Also. I'm trying to scholarships as well, but you know how that is, that can only give out so much and you need to do many essays and I dont have all the time in the world so I cant do as many as I'd like. Plus my gpa isnt like UCLA status.. many Calstate. [3.5]
