I read about the Appalachian Trail a few years ago, and I love it. I'm only thirteen years old, but I convinced by dad to take me when I'm 17, because that's when he doesn't have to worry about losing his job, because the trail lasts 6 months. I've never gone backpacking before, and I live in LA. I hate bugs and I like the computer. Do you think I could thru hike the whole trail? Or do you think I'll never make it? Please tell me the truth.
