England was the front runner until the United States entered the race for the world cup. The US has the strongest bid since their previous WC had a record average attendance due to the large stadiums. There are several stadiums in the US that can seat well over 80,000 spectators. However since most of the football followers come from Europe, England still has a chance due to its location. England also has more stadiums that dedicated to football whereas the stadiums in the US are for American-football. The fight between the two countries will come down to the wire, and is too far off to see who will prevail since the announcement will not be made until 2014.
