Do you think Dancing With The Stars has gotten too out of hand?

I have little children - so I'm looking at it from a parent's perspective. It use to be that a family could watch together. I would not allow my daughter to watch for the last few seasons. It seems to get raunchier as the show goes on. Things contestants say aren't bleeped when they're of sexual nature, costumes getting skimpier, contestants they are picking have had tainted pasts which they wear as a badge of honor. All I think is that this should not be airing around 8 PM anymore, maybe more like 9-11 PM. Do you think it's still good television or is it starting to go a bit too far (especially if you have kids who like to watch)?

I agree-- Hef's girls, lil Kim-- come on'!!! I would like to see more respectable people on there. Or at least pretend you are.

There is nothing wrong or bad about the show, but I agree with what you are saying. I've noticed that too. It used to be more wholesome, but lately they are getting more adult in nature with what they are saying and with their outfits. Karina's outfit was pretty revealing this week, but they wear those types of outfits when they are competing in real competition too. If you think this, just don't let your kids watch it. However, it is possible they don't even understand the raunchy jokes if they are very small. As to the contestants with tainted pasts, I think it is a good story to have Steve-O on the show as he is trying to recover from substance abuse issues. But I agree they used to have more family friendly contestants before.
