No! Civilization is in its midway, there is a lot of time left for it to end.

I was hoping that it was nearing its beginning. We haven't been out
of the trees that long and what I see happening in the world
doesn't measure up to civilized in my mind. If I take your question
at face value and accept that what we have is civilized, I think
that we will evolve toward a more civilized, a less civilized or
not changing level of civilization in the future. I was born
during one of the most uncivilized periods in our history called
the second world war. Upward of 50 million people were
killed for a political ideal. This doesn't bode well for the
possibility of civilization in the future.
