Do you think cheerleading is A sport?

Ok Well I am a competitive all star cheerleader!

My questions is do you think cheerleading is a sport?

I think ALL STAR is,But not school cheer!

Reasons why??

All star being a sport

We strictly compete,my friend told me that she only went to cheer camp for three days(she is a school cheerleader.)

We practice alot,not this weekend but the next we have a 4 and 1/2 hour practice!!! From 10-2:30! Then the weekend after that we have a practice from 10:30-12:30! Those extra practices cause competition season is 6 weeks away!

Our regular practices are on mons and weds 6:15-7:30! Which I know it dosent seem like alot,but we also train at home as much as we can!!

I know that seem like alot but it is!!

Just comment on what you think!!
I also would like to state that unlike school Cheer Even if we are sick we still have to go to comps and practices! Plus if ur sick that ur team cant compete without you,schoool cheer it doesnt matter if ur there or not!
 
YES!! It is one of the most difficult sports! Cheerleaders are the only human beings that can fly! haha. And we usually have 20-30 people on our team and everyone goes at the same time.. we can choose our star players we have to work with every single person on our team no matter how good they are. And we can't practice unless every single person is there so yes it most definately is! :))
