Ok some movies are great done in CGI like spiderman and the incredible hulk looked great in CGI because its just like very good animation even iron man was great but i think its spoils movies that dont need it.Allot of movies i watch start out great and then they will put a silly CGI sequence in it which totaly spoils the rest of the movie,do you agree? They should keep CGI for the superhero movies and keep CGI out of the other movies
One of the est movies ive ever seen was CGI free WIRE free just pure realistic action
claire k CGI does work but they use it for the wrong things. For example they use it for silly unrealistic things like a car jumping and landing on top of a train.I could be really enjoying the movie then then they put a silly unrealistic CGI action sequence and it spoils the movie. However i think CGI looks great in the MARVEL and superhero movies the incredible hulk and iron man are the best i have seen yet

I totally agree with you and I think it is the latest gadget which everyone wants to use which is why so many use it.I hope it doesn't get to a point where only CGI films are made.

CGI doesn't necessarily spoil movies, there is just an imbalance between CGI and character development/storyline. We have the ability to be making fantastic movies, but because of the cosistent lack of substance, CGI is used to try and makke up for this. Obviously it doesn't work.

I think that if you want to watch a cartoon, like "Toy Story," then CGI is great! I suppose, also, that if you want to watch some hokey super-movie like "The Dark Knight" then GCI is OK.

But when CGI takes the palce of acting, and special effects takes the place of story, then I'll be wondering what people are talking about, because I won't see it.
