Do you think Business education in grades 9-12 is important?

Do you think Business Education in america's High Schools are important? If you do why?
 
I think it would be useful as part of a general economics course, which would be more important. Too many kids leave high school with no concept of saving money, budgeting them selves, and the consequences of not having this knowledge. Many, while in college do severe damage to their credit when they use plastic with out thinking about how they will eventually pay back the money.
 
Business Education would do a much better job of preparing our young for the outside world than diagramming sentences would.
 
Somewhat. Kids should know what it is they're doing when handling their finances, especially with most of today's clueless youth. But they also have to focus on more stimulating subjects.
