do you think bike riding?

do you think bike riding maybe harder for me? i'm 24 i have a hearing loss in my left ear the nerve is damaged. i can't hear at all in that ear. i hear normally in my right. my mom said an audiologist from many years ago told her i can't bike ride because i wouldn't be able to balance on it. not only that i wouldn't balance i can't hear what's going on from my left ear while bike riding. i don't want to ride an adult tricycle it would be awkward. there is such thing as deaf bikers right? their hearing loss is worse than mine. i see elderly people on bikes i'm sure they may have a hearing loss their balance isn't as great as it was. i'll do it when i move out i can't afford to live on my own yet. i don't live in a safe area to do it right now.
