It has the v-6 with 133,448 miles with a extended cab, also with a reese hitch, it's a 4x4. Body is fair condition with rust on the rear bumper and tailgate. Also i was wondering what kind of gas mileage i should get because i plain on driving for my everyday use.

make sure it don't burn antifreeze
has that problem on 4.0 engine
automatic transmission are weak
4x4 auto are ok i like Better manuel check transmission oil if smell like burning oil look black on automatic not good
engine oil if clean too
try all gear 4x4 2wd make sure all work
any noise when u turn or vibration may lead to big repair
sometime price to good to be true
got 2 ranger 3 bronco 2 3 explorer work as auto repair
best advice take 30 or 40 buck get it check out
ps ask to see if maintenance was made or not
yes if none major repair have to be done
as for millage depend lot on the way u drive it and Maritain it

If it has the 4.0 liter engine then it's probably a good deal.
But you also have to take into consideration,if your timing goes bad.
Expect to maybe have to take out the engine just to replace it.From what my manual states it has 3 timing chains. But good thing is it only cost 600 to repair. If it has the smaller v6 then you may want to walk away. Those engines are crap. The 4 liter is a real workhorse and very decent millage with plenty of scoot.Btw before you buy it make sure to get the engine warmed up then check the oil gauge. If it is not near the middle then walk away. Also check to see if the engine service soon light is on.Pull the trans dipstick and check the fluid. It should be a bright red.If it stinks then the tranny could be on it's last legs.Another think to look for is an odor that smells like rotten eggs. That would be a faulty catylitic converter.at times they can get so clogged that even it won't start.

yes, i have a 95 ranger that i drive everyday and it has 182,xxx on it. I get about 17 city 20 highway and its the 4.0L V-6
