do you still OWN A VCR?

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. We still have three VCR's that were once top of the line. I, too, once felt that we were on the cutting edge of technology but not anymore. It's too hard to keep up with and too expensive, too, now. I don't even try. All I do is ask my 19 year-old son to explain things to me sometimes because I'm still back in the dark ages and he is up to date on all the modern technology. ; P

I own a small independant movie company and I could not function without a HiFi VCR!! I actually have 3.

I use them mainly for editing news footage or transfering VHS to DVD or MPEG.
 
We still have three of them! But don't use too much since DVR came out. Only use to tape movies for my mom so she can watch at her house.
 
I do! Got to have something to record with!

And shoot, I had recorded some Sega Genesis Madden '95 games on tape recently...
 
Yes, and we still have our VHS tapes, too, but I haven't watched any of them in a long time.
 
YES! I still do. Although vhs are clunky, I love my movies and still watch them. Although you can TOTALLY tell the difference between tape and dvd.
