...competition to be TMA? Styles such as Kyokushin, World Oyama Karate which are considered to be stand up, full contact karate place a lot of emphasis on participating in competitions. But laying a lot of emphasis on participating in a competition and learning self defense are two different things. Would you still consider both styles to be TMA or is the type of training dependent on the instructor? I just like to here some opinions, thank you.
