When I was younger my over active libido had me chasing romance when I wasn't in it. Today, my libido has diminished to normal so I am no longer driven by the primordial desire to mate. That's stage 1. Enter stage 2. Occasionally I meet women that send me messages but I don't have the adventurous spirit I once had. I like being single and unless I get the spark that drives me past my inhibitions I let the moment pass into obscurity. I believe my life would be better w/ the right woman but I'm better off being single than attached to the wrong one. I don't think it's uncommon for folks to become overly selective as they age to fruition.
