it was the economy, the Iraq war, health care, illegal immigration? Those were the campaign issues then and they are issues that effect us all. Could it be we, all people, have more in common than we think?
Those are the basic issues which affect everyone.
Politicians would rather concentrate on dragging their main rivals' names through the mud instead of focussing on the basic issues though.
