Well it is -20 here this morning and you can bet the car is running before I leave for work. At least 20 minutes before I drive it.
Since these are not abnormal temps for us, none of us start the car at night and I can't see any advantage to it.

just start it like that guy said.5,10,15,20 min.before you drive.at those temps shutting it off could mean it wont start.you should wait until the temp. is up to normal and the heater running well.
