i am concerned that the paint will make the contact point of the rubber and the rim weak. What if the paint where the tires are stuck on to flakes off while driving? I wanna paint it to avoid rust but would rust be able to penetrate the inner part of the rim at all after the rim is mounted? Thanks guys!
