i don't have service on my phone its disconnected right now and idk when im going to get service again but doesn't the bluetooth still work or do i need to wait till i have phone service again so the bluetooth can work?
 
No, Bluetooth works anytime because it is short range and it's used to pair Bluetooth devices and other Bluetooth phones. Your phone service isn't in any way connected to it. It's like a wireless Ad-Hoc network between computers. You don't need internet access to be able to wirelessly connect computers to a network; Ad-Hoc is short range and built-in.
