Do you need languages to get into university?

Sorry about my spelling I am not used to this keyboard :S
I am in year nine, I have recently chosen my GCSE choices I picked Business Studies NVQ, History and Geography.

But my languages teacher said that was a stupid thing to decide and saud because AI got chosen to take on two languages aka 3 years of german anf french so we had to have the time the other grups got for german half french as well, and she said that I cannot get into university any after 2010 without them.

I want to become a teacher and my whole career is ruined if this is true :(
 
My advice would be:

1. Dont take buisness studies because it won't teach you much and isn't as well respected as a GCSE.
2. Don't take both history and geography. I had to do 70 pages of coursework for geography and you have 2 exams for each, with loads of information to learn.
3. Not sure about whether or not you have to take a language, but at my school people who don't do a language do leisure and tourism, but will still get into university. Anyway, i class english as a language! And you have to get at least a C in english to get into most universities.
