this is so hard for me to say
because you dont realize i think about you every moment of every day
it's really hard for me to let go
but this is something i have to show
you are my twinkling shining star
i see you from near, close, or far
are you just shining from up above?
or is this the definition of true love?
i know you dont feel the same way i feel about you
i have to accept that and thats hard for me to do
i've kept it in for oh so long
and the only way i can say it is through this song
i'm tired of trying so hard to win
tired of having my heart be thrown in the bin
ripped apart and torn to pieces
folded up and now has creases
i think i've said all i can
now it's time to see if you will hold out your hand
i've been all i can be
i'm being true this is all from me
will my twinkling star fade away?
turn from shining bright to dark gray?
